Chardette is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Queens. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Women Humanitarian Studies with a Minor in Business from Bennett College for Women. Chardette took a career change and earned her Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina A&T State University. She has a gift for inspiring and educating the youth through humanitarian work across many countries. Chardette is an active member of her community, serving others, and volunteering over 500 hours of her time. While living in Asia, she was able to be of service by facilitating book drives, planning events for fundraisers, and implementing after-school programs to service the youth. Her future goals are to continue her global and cultural studies as well as becoming a vital team member of a nonprofit organization.
